in the future we may decide to rent out lilycot as holiday cottage again. if you would like to be kept informed please go to lilycot holiday cottage for more information. meadfoot beach torquay 13/7/2017 posted by daryl recently rachel and i enjoy a day off in torquay. we parked our car opposite the little theatre and strolled down to meadfoot beach for breakfast at the meadfoot beach cafe (a very fine & reasonable breakfast is was too!). from there we continued onto anstey's cove beach via ilsham marine drive where rachel had a swim, after which we had a cold beer from anstey's cove cafe. being a wednesday is sailing day. from anstey's to find shade to the harbour we walked via wellswood and followed higher erith road through the lincombes. how lucky we are... sailing holidays in torquay and torbay 23/5/2017 posted by daryl torquay & torbay are perfect destinations for sailing holidays. the bay of torbay is a perfect place to sail and has a fantastic coastline to explore. to the north of torbay is exmouth, and teignmouth. to the south we have the port of dartmouth, the river dart and further south, salcombe and the city of plymouth. torbay has two marinas, one in torquay and the second in brixham. if you wish to contact any local sailing clubs please follow the link and torbays marina contacts can be found below. happy sailing!
